让人上头的“剧本杀”、“狼人杀”英文到底怎么说？跟“kill”可没关系！

“剧本杀”、“狼人杀”等游戏已经成了很多年轻人聚会时必不可少的环节，那它们的英文又该怎么说呢?

剧本杀

LARP(Live Action Role-Playing)

A live action role-playing game (LARP) is a form of role-playing game where the participants physically portray their characters.

真人实景角色扮演游戏(LARP)是角色扮演游戏中的一种，参与者置身于真实场景中来塑造他们的角色。

除此之外，我们所说的剧本杀也和外国人所说的谋杀之谜(Murder Mystery Game)非常类似，它流行于欧美派对中，参加派对的宾客扮演不同的角色(包括凶手)进行的一场推理游戏。

这两个翻译一个侧重于实景实时、一个侧重于内容是和“谋杀”有关的。

一些在玩剧本杀时可能会涉及到的英文词汇：

script 剧本

DM (Dungeon Master)

DM指游戏的组织者，兼导演、裁判、公证人身份。后被引入各类游戏中，一般情况下DM就是主持人。

OB(Observer)

观察者，指的是不参与游戏的吃瓜群众。

NPC (Non-Player Character)

剧情中出现的非玩家扮演的角色

*剧本杀里的NPC指的是真人扮演的服务型角色，NPC这个概念最早来自于电子游戏当中，全称是non-player character，意思是不受真人玩家操纵的游戏角色，可以在游戏中推动剧情、提供服务等。

The Werewolves of Miller's Hollow

The Werewolves of Millers Hollow is a card game created by the French authors Philippe des Pallières and Hervé Marly that can be played with multiple players. The game is based on the Russian game Mafia.

《米勒山谷的狼人》是衍生于俄罗斯《杀手》游戏的多人纸牌游戏，由法国人Philippe des Pallières和Hervé Marly创作。

Each player takes on the role of a resident of the ill fated town of Miller's Hollow. Some are innocent villagers, others are werewolves...

每个玩家都扮演命运多舛的米勒山谷镇的居民。有些是无辜的村民，有些是狼人…

Werewolves 狼人

Each night, the Werewolves bite, kill and devour one Townsperson.

每晚，狼人都会咬、杀、吞一个镇民。

Townsfolk 镇民

Each night, one of them is killed by the Werewolves.

每过一晚他们中就有一个人被狼人杀死。

This player is eliminated from the game.

那么这个被杀死的玩家就会被淘汰出局。

The next morning, survivors gather in the town square and try to discover who the Werewolves are. After discussing and debating, the Townsfolk vote to lynch a suspect, who is then hanged, burned and eliminated from the game.
